The 22nd International Academic Conference vulvovaginal disease was held in Rome, Italy on 6th – 13th Oct, 

2013 successfully. The conference was sponsored by the International Association of vulvovaginal disease

 research from the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Israel, 

China, more than 200 delegates attended from more than 20 countries. Meeting mainly focused vulvovaginal 

disease drug personalized treatment, photodynamic therapy of vulvar lichen sclerosus, therapy of vulvar intraepithelial

 neoplasia (VIN) and latest vulvovaginal diseases diagnostic and predictive tools.

Professor Li Chengzhi, the chief physician from Chongqing Haifu Hospital, was invited to attend the conference 

and made two keynote speeches, focused ultrasound treatment of vulvar lichen sclerosus Systematic Review and 

focused ultrasound and electric iron for the treatment of symptomatic cervical intraepithelial shift -            

control study. She gave people a comprehensive introduction to the focused ultrasound technology for

the treatment of vulvar and cervical disease principles, strengths,and the unique effect,  attracted the

 participants ‘interest.

Professor Li Chengzhi made a wonderful speech at the Academic Conference.

Professor Li Chengzhi, acted as the Chair of Membership Development Committee, who has made the outstanding 

contributions to the development of ISSVD Society, so she won the award for the Outstanding Contribution 

Certificate.

       It is believed that the concept of minimally-invasive of focused ultrasound technology will get a broader 

       market in the treatment of vulvar and cervical disease , Chongqing Haifu Hospital also wants to help more 

      women by non-invasive ultrasound treatment technology.
