In the evening of December 11, 2013, the international academic exchange conference was held on the third floor of HIFU hospital. Professor Franklin D. Loffer and professor D.Y.Liu from American each made a lecture.

This conference was host by the HIFU expert、the director of Chongqing minimally invasive noninvasive treatment research center for uterine benign disease, Zhang Lian. The doctors from HIFU hospital、obstetrics and gynecology doctors and students from Chongqing medical university first affiliated hospital participated in this communication. This conference mainly discussed the clinical application of hysteroscopy、laparoscopy and ultrasound ablation.

During the conference, professor Liu and professor Loffer made wonderful lectures named "clinical application of hysteroscopy、laparoscopy" and "electrotomyoscope for uterine fibroids" respectively. Professor Zhang Lian shared more about effect evaluation of more than 1022 cases of HIFU treatment for uterine adenomyosis

In the communication part, all the doctors and students participated actively. Especially doctor Xiong Yu who is a clinical expert of laparoscopic and senior HIFU physician Deng Yongbin, they had more discussion with those experts.

    Franklin D. Loffer

    He holds M.D. degree from Stanford University in California in USA. Dr. Loffer was in the private practice of gynecology in Phoenix, Arizona from 1968 to 2009. He was Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona. Dr. Loffer has been active in gynecologic endoscopy and minimally invasive outpatient surgery since 1970. He is Past President of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and currently is their Executive Vice President and Medical Director. Dr. Loffer has authored 48 peer review papers and 17 chapters, primarily in the area of gynecologic endoscopy. He is on the editorial board of 2 journals and has been an ad hoc reviewer for 13 medical journals.

    C.Y. Liu

   Former AAGL Executive Director

     Doctor C.Y. Liu was the former AAGL (The American society for gynecologic cavity mirror)Executive Director in 2009-2011, he now works in Chattanooga Women’s Surgery Center in TN Tennessee, American. Now he is the professor of obstetrics and gynaecology from the Tennessee university school of medicine；committee member of AAGL；committee member of the American society for laparoscopic surgeons（SLS）、American gynecological laparoscopic physicians committee；The 4th international editors of the Chinese journal of minimally invasive surgery. He is a famous expert worldwide.
